Fantasia- August 2000

"Abby" was a bay, unregistered Thoroughbred mare. Standing at just 15.1 hands, this little mare had a heart larger than most 17 hand horses. Shown throughout her early teen years on the CEF Hunter/Jumper circuit, Abby came to us in 1997 from the Equus Centre. Over the years, she had proven herself as not only a competitive show horse, but also a very successful broodmare, with her three offspring now actively competing in the Jumper, Dressage and Eventing circuits throughout Canada and the USA. Even in her early 20's, Abby still continued active competition in local Hunter/Jumper and Gymkhana events.  For more pictures from shows, click on this link -Various Shows-
We said goodbye to Abby on January 26, 2004, after a great 7 years with her. Although we don't know exactly how old she was, we know she was about 26. To say that she had a good life is an understatement, she had a great life and was certainly the best first horse I could ever dream of. For this, I am forever greatful to her. She will be forever missed by everyone who knew her, especially by myself!
Abby's Offspring (all by Hanoverian stallion, Etoile):
  • "Sorceror" 1994 bay gelding (Eventing in Ontario).
  • "Espionage" 1996 black gelding (Jumper in the USA).
  • "Endeavour" 1997 bay gelding (owned by Riverview).
